VentureOUT Website Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 August 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern use of the VentureOUT website. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

The website is operated by Single Step Foundation.

Registered office: 12 Bratya Miladinovi Street, Sofia 1000, Bulgaria
Unified Identification Code: 177112828

2. Website purpose

VentureOUT is being developed as a social-entrepreneurship accelerator for European civil-society organizations. The website provides information about the initiative and allows CSOs, mentors, experts, funders, supporters and partners to express interest.

The website and expression-of-interest form are intended for adults acting in a professional or organizational capacity and are not directed at children.

3. An expression of interest is not an application

Submitting the expression-of-interest form:

  • is not an application to the VentureOUT accelerator;
  • does not create a contract or obligation to apply;
  • does not guarantee eligibility, selection, participation, funding, investment, mentoring or any other benefit; and
  • does not reserve a place in a future programme.

Programme dates, format, eligibility, content, funding and other details may change before applications open. Separate application and participation terms may apply at a later stage.

4. Information you submit

Information you provide must be accurate to the best of your knowledge. If you provide information for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to identify that organization and describe your relationship with it.

Do not submit confidential business information, personal data about other people, sensitive personal information, legal documents, financial records or other material that has not been requested.

You retain ownership of information and materials you submit. You give Single Step Foundation permission to use them only as reasonably necessary to register and respond to your interest, operate VentureOUT and comply with law, in accordance with the Privacy Notice.

5. VentureOUT communications

If you provide the required consent, Single Step Foundation may send you VentureOUT programme announcements, opportunities and relevant follow-up until you unsubscribe. You may unsubscribe at any time. Details are provided in the Privacy Notice.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the website unlawfully or fraudulently;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;
  • attempt to obtain unauthorized access to the website, form or related systems;
  • introduce malware or interfere with the operation or security of the website;
  • use automated tools to overload, scrape or disrupt the website; or
  • use website content in a misleading way or in a manner that infringes another person’s rights.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, its users or Single Step Foundation.

7. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website, VentureOUT name, logo, design, text and original materials are owned by or licensed to Single Step Foundation and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view, download or print website content for lawful internal, informational and non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit substantial website content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-party names, logos, photographs and materials remain the property of their respective owners.

8. External links

The website may link to websites or services operated by other organizations. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices. A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement.

9. Information and professional advice

Website content is general information about VentureOUT. It is not legal, financial, tax, investment or other professional advice. You should obtain appropriate professional advice before making decisions for your organization.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or complete. We may correct, update, suspend or withdraw content or functionality where reasonably necessary.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Single Step Foundation is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on general website information, inability to access the website, or third-party websites.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from fraud, intentional misconduct or other liability protected by mandatory law.

12. Privacy and cookies

Our processing of personal data is explained in the VentureOUT Privacy Notice. Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in the Cookie Notice.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the website or VentureOUT initiative changes. The current version and update date will remain available on this page. Changes do not apply retroactively unless required by law.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Disputes are subject to the competent Bulgarian courts, without affecting any mandatory rights or jurisdiction rules that apply under EU or national law.
